Frequently asked questions

Where in California do you offer portable toilet rentals?

We take rental requests across California, including Los Angeles and Orange County, San Diego, the Inland Empire and desert communities, the Bay Area, wine country, the Central Valley, the Central Coast and the Sierra and far north. We confirm coverage for your exact address when you call. See our service areas.

How do I get a quote?

Call us. Have your city or ZIP code, delivery date, how long you need the units, the number of people who will use them and any access notes ready. If you want to prepare first, see what to have ready.

Do you publish prices?

No. Cost depends on unit type, quantity, rental length, servicing, location and access, so every job is quoted individually. Our cost guide explains what moves the number.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can, particularly for weekends between spring and fall when weddings, festivals and outdoor events are busiest. For a short-notice need, call and we will tell you what is possible for your location.

How should I prepare for delivery?

Choose a firm, level spot with a clear route for a truck, share any gate codes or parking restrictions and make sure someone can be reached on the day. Our delivery and pickup page lists what helps.

How many portable toilets do I need?

It depends on peak headcount, event length, alcohol and meals. Use the rental calculator for a planning estimate, then we will review the numbers with you. See also how many units to plan for.

Do you offer ADA-accessible units?

Accessible units are part of the lineup, subject to availability on your date. Plan the ground surface and route too. See accessible restroom planning.

Can I rent for a long project?

Yes. Longer rentals with a recurring servicing schedule are common for construction, agriculture and rebuilding projects. See long-term rentals.

Do portable toilets need water or electricity?

Standard portable toilets do not. Deluxe units, handwashing stations and restroom trailers may involve water or power considerations, which we explain when you call.

What if there is a problem during my rental?

Call the number on this site and describe the issue and the location. We will help you work out the next step.

Do I need a permit for portable toilets in California?

It depends on the city, county, venue and type of project. Special events, parks, film shoots and some construction sites have specific requirements. Check with the local authority or venue. For job sites, see our Cal/OSHA guide.

How do you handle heat, rain and wildfire season?

Each affects planning: shade and extra servicing in heat, firm ground in wet weather, clear access and early communication during fire and smoke events. Our weather and wildfire guide covers the details.

Still have a question?
