How Renting a Porta Potty in California Works
The whole rental from first call to pickup, plus a few California-specific things worth sorting out before the truck arrives.
1. Call with the essentials
Ring (888) 570-8490 and tell us where the units are going, the delivery date, how long you need them and roughly how many people will use them. Mention anything unusual about the site: a steep driveway, a locked gate, a narrow street, a beach or park with its own rules.
2. Talk through the options and the quote
We suggest unit types and quantities, explain what is and is not included and answer questions about servicing and pickup. Pricing, terms and availability are confirmed on the call, not guessed at on a web page.
3. Get the spot ready
Choose firm, level ground with a clear approach for a service truck, ideally with some shade. In neighborhoods, think about where a truck can legally stop. Line up a contact who can pick up the phone on delivery day.
4. Delivery and placement
Units are brought to the agreed location and set in place. For events, that normally happens before guests or vendors arrive. On job sites, we can talk through spots that stay clear of equipment and haul routes.
5. Servicing on longer rentals
Multi-day events and active job sites need servicing so units stay usable. How often depends on use, heat and site layout, and we settle it before the rental starts.
6. Pickup
When the event wraps or the work is done, pickup is scheduled. If your end date moves, call as early as you can so the schedule can move with it.
Have these ready before you dial
None of it has to be perfect. Rough answers are enough to get started.
The address
Street address or the closest intersection, plus how a truck gets to the spot.
The calendar
Start date, hours of use or shift times, and when you expect to be finished.
The crowd
Guest or crew count, and whether anyone needs an accessible unit.
The extras
Handwashing, evening lighting, food or alcohol on site.
The paperwork
Any permit, HOA, park, city or venue requirement that touches delivery or placement.
The point person
A name and mobile number for whoever will be there when the truck shows up.
